When does the Jones Act, LHWCA, or Louisiana Worker’s Compensation Act apply? What are the remedies? What is considered a vessel? What can be filed in state court or removed to federal court? What contractual indemnities and waivers can be enforced? This one (1) hour overview will provide a broad perspective of the unique issues involved in offshore energy and maritime issue.
