If you are dedicated to helping others and being a star on your legal team, why not consider paralegal certification for yourself. This credential is voluntary and a personal choice. Since achieving that goal for myself, I have been honored with an Unsung Legal Hero award, obtained a client file for an ancillary probate in Minnesota solely because of my credential, and have earned genuine respect and honor from my colleagues and the legal community and most importantly, my career and employment. Especially with receiving the honor of being awarded the 2020 Barbara Peppersack Lifetime Service Award by the MPA. Having that “extra” layer of a certification credential has really set myself apart in the paralegal realm and has enhanced my paralegal career.

It may be my personality type, it may be my perseverance, it may be my drive for always working hard, but you may be just like me…setting the goal to work toward being the best version of myself, both personally and professionally. Speaker: Tina Johnson, RP, MnCP

Tina Johnson is a PACE® Registered Paralegal with Kennedy & Ruhsam Law Office, P.A. in Eagan, Minnesota, and has over 20 years of experience assisting with all aspects of estate and trust administrations, including drafting probate documents, transferring assets, preparing annual accountings, as well as preparing and filing estate tax and fiduciary income tax returns. She is Certification Ambassador Chair for the Minnesota Paralegal Association. In 2020, Ms. Johnson received the MPA Barb Peppersack Lifetime Service award for her dedication, leadership, and years of experience as a paralegal. In addition, Ms. Johnson has dedicated her time and expertise to the MN CLE and annually edits a chapter within the MN Estate Administration Deskbook and has presented at the annual Minnesota Probate and Trust Law Conference.
